Friends of Cambusnethan Priory

About

The "Friends of Cambusnethan Priory" was started on the 28th of March 2014. Our vision is to have a restoration of the A-listed gothic-revival masterpiece of Cambusnethan Priory to create a multi-purpose visitor centre for the Clyde Walkway and the local community of North and South Lanarkshire.

Our plans ensure that public access will be guaranteed and we hope to restore other historical points of interest in the local area. 2016 is the 200th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the Priory and we aim to have the restoration started in that year.
