Peta Carlin

About

Peta Carlin is an artist & essayist currently based in Melbourne. She has a particular interest in the nature of the surface and its significance in our understanding and experience of place, and her work explores architectural themes and concepts through the practices of image-making with a view to collaborative exchange. Her work is held in the Corbett Lyon and Yueji Lyon Collection of Contemporary Australian Art, and she is a recipient of a British Council Design Researcher Award. Peta's forthcoming book, "On Surface and Place: Between Architecture and Textiles" (Ashgate), to be published in late 2016, departed from Urban Fabric: Greige.
