Scottish Catholic Historical Association

About

The Scottish Catholic Historical Association was founded in 1950 by a group of clergy and laity who wished to place Scottish Catholic history in the mainstream of historical research. Its object is the advancement of education and religion by promoting the study of the history of Scotland and, in particular, the part played by the Roman Catholic church in the life of the Scottish nation.
